Common name:Windmill Palm, Chusan Palm.

From mountainous regions of China, this palm will take several degrees of frost and regularly sees snow in it's native habitat. This palmate species will grow to 10m (30') tall with leaves up to 1m (3') across. Unlike most palms this species actually prefer cooler areas and would struggle to grow in the tropics. This palm should be grown in full sun.
