Carpentaria acuminata seeds

A tall, fast growing palm from the Northern Territories of Australia. Widely used in cultivation, this slender, solitary feather palm has elegantly recurved leaves and likes full sun. Despite being a sun loving species, they can be grown indoors, where space allows and in shadier positions will exhibit darker leaf colouring and some petiole colouring. This plant is not suitable for use outside in cool temperate areas and due to it's rate of growth winter protection would be difficult after the first few years.
