Common name: Chilean wine palm. Jubaea chilensis is one of the largest palms in the world reaching 25m (80') tall with a trunk of up to 1.2m (4') diameter. Although slow growing, it is probably the most cold tolerant of all feather palms, making it a good choice for temperate regions where there is sufficient space.
